I’m Joyce, the founder of Marola Travel and someone who’s spent most of my life planning where to go next.
The name Marola means small wave in Portuguese and is rooted in my love of the ocean and the places I’ve lived. My whole life, I’ve never lived more than 30 minutes away from an ocean.

Born and raised in Portugal, I’ve lived across four continents and now split my time between Europe and the U.S. After a decade working in corporate and startup roles, I turned my lifelong love of planning unforgettable trips into what I do full time.
